Chief Customer Success Officer (CCO)

Dr. Benno Quade is Chief Customer Success Officer (CCO) at Software AG. Benno joined the newly formed Management Team in August 2021. In this role as CCO, Benno leads Professional Services, Customer Success Management, Solution Management, Renewals, TrendMiner, the Alfabet Customer Center, Customer Operations and Insights teams. He manages the resources of the customer success and professional services teams to accelerate customers’ time to value. He also helps ensure renewal revenues in the growing subscription model.

Prior to his role as CCO, Benno was the Chief Operations Officer Global Go to Market (COO) where he was responsible for leading the operational resources of sales, helping to accelerate and manage sales excellence and efficiencies, and drive the transformation of Software AG’s Go to Market functions. In 2012  Dr. Quade joined Software AG as Corporate Counsel, where he held as General Counsel leadership positions in a number of lines of business including: Legal, Corporate M&A projects, IP and Technology Compliance. Most recently, he led Software AG’s strategic transformation initiative (Helix), helping the company to define a multi-year approach to profitability and sustained growth.

Dr. Quade studied Law, Philosophy and History at the Universities Regensburg and Heidelberg and holds a PhD in Law. With numerous talks and publications, he has made a name for himself as a Thought Leader in the legal tech area.

Dr. Quade is married with three children and lives in Darmstadt, Germany.
